TiO2에 의한 삼염화에틸렌(TCE)의 광분해 반응 연구
A Study on the Photodegradation of Trichloroethylene(TCE) over TiO2
The photocatalytic degradation of trichloroethylene in water on various type of TiO2 was studied. Physical properties of TiO2 were characterized gy XRD, SEM, and BET. P25- TiO2 from Degussa has mixed structure of anatasd and rutile, TiO2 from Aldrich has pure anatase, and TiO2 from KIER has pure rutile structure, respectively. Optimum conditions for TCE degradation were examined. Results showed that optimum loading amount of catalyst was 0.1 wt% and flowrate of recirculation was 200 sccm. TCE degradation decreased as initial concentration of TCE was increased. P25- TiO2 from Degussa has mixed structure of anatase and rutile showed better activity than those of pure antase and rutile structure.
