The crystal structures of {(CnH2n+1)(2)NH2}(4)[Pt-2(pop)(4)I] (pop=O(PO2H)(2)(2-), n=2-6) have been determined. Judging from the results of the X-ray structural analyses and Raman spectra, I-D electronic structures of these compounds are consider to be ...Pt2+-Pt3+-X ...Pt2+-Pt3+-X.... charge-polarized states.
