Storage Characteristics of Hydrogen by Zirconium and Titanium
Hydrogen absorption experiments were carried out by the sponge, strip and rod types of zirconium(Zr) and titanium(Ti) for investigating the storage characteristics of hydrogen. From experimental results, Zr and Ti sponges showed the high hydrogen absorption capacity inspite of low reaction temperature. The H/M which mean the capacity of hydrogen absorption was measured 2.0 for Zr/Ti sponge in the experimental condition of 25℃. However, in case of Zr/Ti strip and rod, the hydrogen absorption capacities were very low in the experimental condition of 25℃.
