Adsorption of hydrogen onto a modified activated carbon
Corn. activated carbons (pine wood) optionally modified by KOH treatment were studied for porous structure and H-2 adsorption capacity at 77 K and 300 K. Modification of the activated C resulted in an increase (near 3.7 times at 77 K) in the adsorption capacity. The modified activated C can be used for H-2 storage.
