Progress in the technology for manufacturing Bisphenol A
The process for manufg. (p-OHC6H4)(2)CMe2 by ion exchange resin-catalyzed condensation of PhOH with Me2CO under recycling the by-products of the reaction was improved to decrease the energy consumption. The improved technol. is transferred to Russia.
