Use of the Fenton reagent-regenerated activated carbon for treatment of wastewater from the textile industry
Corm activated C was used for sepn. of Bemacid Red NT-F dye from its aq. soln. and from wastewaters from textile industry, then regenerated with Fenton reagent and reused for the adsorption. Five subsequent regenerations resulted in decreasing the adsorption capacity, I no. and content of basic groups on the sorbent surface and in increasing the sorbent mass loss and the content of acidic groups on the sorbent surface. Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms were also calcd.
