Four com. emulsion poly(vinyl chlorides) were studied for grain morphol., chem. structure, thermal stability, decompn. heat and crystallinity. Trace amts. of impurities present in the polymer samples contributed to a decrease in their thermal stability. The crystallinity of the polymer was evidenced.
