Synthesis and properties of multiblock thermoplastic elastomers with oligoamide-6.10 and oligoamide-12 as hard blocks
Terpolyl(amide-6.10)-b-(ozytetramethylene)-b-(tetramethylene terephtalate)] was synthesized and modified by a partial substitution of oligoamide-6.10 blocks with oligoamide-12 ones. The multiblock tetrapolymer was studied for mol. mass, viscosity no., thermal behavior, swelling, chem. structure and mech. properties. The addn. of the oligoamide-12 block resulted in an increase in the Young modulus, tensile strength, m.p., and theor. applicability range as well as in a decrease in cryst. temp.
