Dichroism of amorphous film of an azobenzene-based photochromic amorphous molecular material, 4-[bis(9,9-dimethylfluoren-2-yl)amino]azobenzene (BFlAB), induced by irradiation with linearly polarized Ar+ laser light has been investigated.
