Synthesis and Photovoltaic Properties of Mesophorous TiO2 for the Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell
Nanocrystalline mesoporous titania was synthesized by using the surfactant assisted templating method with different temperatures. The energy conversion efficiency of 5.9% was achieved in the dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC) based on the 400 degrees C sintered TiO2 electrode with treatment of TiCl4 aqueous solution. We found that the amount of dye adsorbed in TiO2 surface was affected significantly with the temperature during the sintering process.
