Three-component synthesis of cyclic beta-aminoesters using CeO2 nanoparticles as an efficient and reusable catalyst
CeO2 nanoparticles were used as an efficient catalyst for the preparation of cyclic beta-aminoesters by three-component reaction between primary amines, ethyl acetoacetate, and chalcones in ethanol. Atom economy, low catalyst loading, reusable catalyst, and high yields of products are some of the important features of this protocol.
