Size Control of ZnO Tetrapod in Gas-phase Synthesis using Flow Restrictor
Monodispersed tetrapod-shaped ZnO (T-ZnO) particles with rods ranging from 1.3 to 10.5 mu m are synthesized by gas-phase reaction of zinc vapor and oxygen gas using a flow restrictor in a single baking furnace. The size control of the T-ZnO particles is accomplished by changing the calcination time and the position of the flow restrictor.
