Thermodynamic Modeling for CO2 Adsorption on Activated Carbon at Low Partial Pressure
The determination of adsorption thermodynamics at low CO2 partial pressure is of great significance. The Langmuir-Freundlich model is used to fit the adsorption isotherms of activated carbon (AC) and amine-modified AC. The isosteric heat and average heat of CO2 adsorption on AC are calculated. The result could benefit the subsequent process development and equipment energy optimization.
