Efficient Solid-phase Gene Delivery Mediated by Cerasome: Effect of Reverse Procedure on Transfection Performances in Comparison with Solution-based Method
An organic inorganic hybrid liposome, cerasome, was utilized as a new gene carrier for solid-phase transfection. The cerasome-modified glass substrate exhibited an increased transfection performance for HEK293T cells, compared to a solution-based bulk method, because of the efficient contact between the cells and the cerasome plasmid DNA complex on the substrate surface.
