Facile One-step Synthetic Route to Mesoporous N-Doped Attapulgite (ATP)@Carbon Composite through Hydrothermal Carbonization and the Application to Adsorbing Toxic Metal Ions
A new kind of mesoporous N-doped attapulgite clay@carbon (N-ATP@C) nanocomposite material was synthesized by a cheap and facile method: the one-pot hydrothermal method. The characterization results indicated that smaller carbon spheres were coated on the surface of ATP and converted into completely different net-cross structures with mesopores. Therefore, this kind of material exhibited a high adsorption capacity of approximately 125.4 mg g(-1) for Cu(II) ions.
