A nonenzymatic hydrogen peroxide sensor based on Au-Ag nanotubes and chitosan film
In this paper, a nonenzymatic hydrogen peroxide sensor based on Au-Ag nanotubes and chitosan film has been fabricated. The Au-Ag nanotubes were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The electrochemical behaviors of the biosensor were characterized by cyclic voltammetry. Under the optimal conditions, a wider linear range (0.008-1.3 mM) and a low detection limit (3.18 mu M) were achieved based on the Au-Ag nanotubes for accurate detection of H2O2. In addition, this sensor also exhibited good selectivity and reproducibility. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
