Assessment of impact of fuel combustion in residential heating on particulate matter concentrations in Poland
A spatial and time-depending database of emissions was developed. The base contained the nos., ages, areas, thermal insulations of buildings, heating techniques and the types of fuels used. The database and the data on air temps. and population d. were used in a math. model to estimate the spatial and temporal changes of the concns. of particulate matter in air (grain diams. below 2.5 or 10 mu m) resulting from the fuel combustion for the residential heating.
