활성탄의 형태에 따른 p-Chlorophenol의 흡착 특성 연구
A Study on p-Chlorophenol Adsorption by different types of Activated Carbon
Adsorption of p-Chlorophenol on Granular Activated Carbon(GAC) and Activated Carbon Fiber(ACF) was investigated. The influence of initial p-Chlorophenol concentration, pH, NaCl electrolyte, agitation has been studied. Because of the smaller mass transfer resistance, uniform pores, and larger overall surface area, the adsorption rate of activated carbon fiber was higher than that of granular activated carbon. The adsorption rate of activated carbons depends more on the uniform micro and mesopore developments than on the total surface area.
