Brief - Optimizing Slot Usage on a Minimum-Facilities Platform
The close-proximity well (CPW) project has enabled Chevron U.K. Ltd. to increase the number of well slots on the Alba northern platform (ANP) by more than 20% at minimum cost. Four slots on ANP were modified to accommodate 46-in.-OD caissons, each housing two 20,000-B/D wells.
