Calcium peroxide as a chemical stimulator of bioremediation of soil contaminated with persistent organic pollutants
The soil contaminated with persistent org. pollutants (levamisol, fluoranthene) was treated with CaO2 (0.5 g/kg of dry mass of soil) to stimulate the biol, activity of the indigenous microflora. The detd. removal degree of levamisole increased from 26% to 50% for and that of fluoranthene from 57% to 73%.
