Five biomass dust samples were studied for explosibility both as sep. materials and as mixts. with coal dust. Max. explosion pressures, max. rate of pressure raise, and lower explosion limit were detd. A synergy effect was obsd. for biomass-coal dust (1:1) mixts. The explosion pressures of mixts. were higher than that for particular components.
