Importance of Sampling in the Process of Brewing
Beer production is a complex process which is composed of multiple steps. After each step, the quality of intermediates has to be controlled. Due to rising demands for the quality of raw materials, product consistency, and homogeneity, the efforts within the framework of quality assurance have increased. Sampling is highly important since accurate and representative analytical results could only be achieved by its proper realization. Location, time, and the way of sampling as well as the amount of the sample determine its representativeness.
