Two corn. lipids were emulsified in an aq. surfactant soln. with geranic acid (a model pesticide) to study the emulsion properties (particle size distribution, polydispersity index, particle charge) and the ability of geranic acid for permeation through a cellulose membrane at 32 degrees C. The applicability of the lipids as pesticide carriers was confirmed.
