Numerical simulations were carried to describe the biodegrdn. of glucose and PhOH in a bioreactor with an external circulation tube. The process were detd. as a function of residence time of the liq. phase in the bioreactor. Similar numerical simulations were carried out for biodegrdn. in a commonly used bubble-stirred tank bioreactor. The resulting characteristics were presented as branches of steady states of the processes.
