Orientation Light-Scattering from Fractal Colloid Aggregates
The scattered light from computer-simulated aggregates, oriented by an external field, is calculated. Two modes of orientation corresponding to different electric polarization mechanisms were investigated. It was found that the orientation light scattering effects lie on a universal curve, due to the scale invariance of the fractal anisotropy. This curve could be used as a basis for the description and analysis of real electric light scattering experiments.
