The study of boiling-up onset of highly superheated n-pentane in a glass capillary at different pressures. II. Data processing
The paper presents the methods and results of statistical processing of measurements of the lifetimes of superheated n-pentane with right censoring. The data were obtained in a temperature range of 84.7-162.8 degrees C and at a pressure on fluid of 0.10-1.28 MPa. Simple statistical models of the superheated state lifetime distribution, such as exponential, Weibull, gamma and mixture thereof are discussed. In the experiment, both homogeneous and heterogeneous Poisson processes are observed. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
