Modeling and simulation of physical sputtering
In a thermonuclear fusion reactor Tokamak (ITER), the interaction of materialswith the plasma to impact the creation of dust formed of beryllium (Be), tungsten (W) and carbon (C), result of erosion of the walls of the vacuum chamber by the plasma varying in size from a few nanometers to tens of microns and are highly reactive chemically. In case of loss confinement, absorption of these microparticles could then result in consequences for the health of workers.
