Anaerobic co-digestion of highly processed food waste with sewage sludge. Physicochemical and microbiological evaluation of the process
A highly processed food waste was fermented to biogas optionally together with raw sewage sludge. The addn. of sewage sludge resulted in a decrease in biogas and MeH yields because of inhibiting action of some components of the sludge. The MeH content in the biogas from the mixed biomass was however the highest one (56.7%).
