Nanostructure Superhydrophobic Surface Prepared by Photopolymerization
We present a facile method for the fabrication of super-hydrophobic surfaces by spraying modified silica nanoparticles on a substrate and grafting them on a glass surface after exposure to UV light. The contact angle (CA) results indicated that this nanostructure surface has a large static water contact angle (159(circle)). The potential application and development prospective were demonstrated by the low cost of materials and ease of fabrication.
