Core-Shell Structure Formation from Droplets by Droplet Shrinkage and Spontaneous Emulsification
This paper describes a novel method for preparing core-shell structures from droplets. The core-shell structures are formed via water transfer from a droplet of polymer solution to a high-osmotic-pressure gel plate upon which the droplet is placed. Furthermore, a large amount of core-shell structures are formed from monodisperse droplets produced by a microfluidic device.
