Slip and Joule heating effects on radiative peristaltic flow of hyperbolic tangent nanofluid
The present investigation is devoted to the peristalsis of hyperbolic tangent fluid with nanoparticles. The study is carried out under the effect of thermal radiation and Joule heating. The Buongiorno model is employed to the nanofluid flow in a channel with compliant walls. Effect of Hall current is also considered. The boundaries of the channel satisfy slip conditions. The involved equations are simplified using long wavelength and low Reynolds number approximation. The consequences of Hall current, thermal radiation, Hartman number, Brownian motion, thermophoresis and slip parameters are examined numerically. It is notable that Hartman number and Hall parameter shows similar behavior on temperature but opposite behavior on the velocity. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
