Cross sections for electron collision with fluoroacetylene: A comparative study with acetylene and difluoroacetylene along with fluorination
Low energy electron impact cross sections of fluoroacetylene (HCCF) are investigated using the R-matrix method. The best target model, which gave good target properties in comparison with literature values, is used for the final scattering calculation. The fluorination effect on the various elastic, momentum transfer, differential, excitation and ionization cross section is studied by comparing the present results with the recent theoretical results of difluoroacetylene (FCCF) and acetylene (HCCH). This is the first reported detailed investigation of cross sections for HCCF along with the fluorination effect. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
