Ir-catalyzed Hydrogenolysis Reaction of Silyl Triflates and Halides with H-2
Synthesis of hydrosilanes by the hydrogenolysis reaction with H-2 instead of reducing with strong hydride reagents such as lithium aluminum hydride was achieved. An iridium complex catalyst successfully converted silyl triflates and halides with H-2 to the corresponding hydrosilanes in the presence of an amine under mild reaction conditions.
