Effect of La0,8Sr0,2CoO3 perovskite addition to the air electrode on reversibility of Zn-air system
An active layer of the air electrode in Zn-air battery was prepd. by mixing activated C, graphite and La0,8Sr0,2CoO3 perovskite with EtOH or i-PrOH and polytetrafluoroeihylene emulsion and forming disks (diam. 26 mm, thickness 2 mm) by rolling. The elec. tests of the electrodes showed an improvement in cell voltage and sustainability in charge/discharge cycles.
