Dealloying-oxidation Technique as a Powerful Synthetic Tool for Sodium Titanate Nanowires with High Ion-exchange Ability
Fine sodium titanate nanowires were fabricated easily from TiAl3 alloy grains via alkaline treatment at room temperature. The resulting materials were identified to have lepidocrocite-type layered structure consisting of TiO6 and Na+ ion layers. The materials exhibited remarkable ion-exchange with Sr2+ ions even in the presence of a large amount of Na+ ions.
