Process analysis of removal of NO from low-temperature flue gas with H2O2/O-3 oxidation
The removal of NO from low-temperature flue gas is an important issue in the field of air pollution remediation. The process analysis of NO removal with H2O2/O-3 oxidation was investigated using Aspen Plus. The optimal NO oxidation temperature by H2O2 was 150 degrees C. The amounts of oxidation products NO2, HNO3, and HNO2 were 93.3%, 3.83%, and 1.04% in the case of 1 mole ratio of H2O2/NO, respectively. The integration of H2O2 and O-3 oxidation increased the content of HNO3 in products, which would be beneficial to the subsequent absorption process. This study can provide fundamental data for the design and development of the deNOx process for low-temperature flue gas.
