Ordered ZnO/Au micro/nanostructured pore array was successfully synthesized based on a monolayer polystyrene sphere template. It can be used directly as a hydrogen peroxide sensor electrode, exhibiting higher sensitivity attributed to the special composite material and the distinctive structural features.
