Glutaral and 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilpropionamide biocides, KCI-modified 3 types of guar polymers and 11 com. swelling inhibitors were added to top water to prep. facturing fluids studied then for wettability of smectite rocks, rheol. properties of the foamed fluid and its antibacterial activity. The addn. of com. inhibitors resulted in a decrease in rock sensitivity on the fluid action. The optimum compn. of the fluid was found.
