Use of diffusing wave and Raman spectroscopies for evaluation of paraffinic emulsions formed by homogenization
A paraffinic emulsion was prepd. and twice homogenized to study changes of its phys. stability structure, morphol. and viscoelasticity. Diffiusing wave and the Raman spectroscopies were used to monitoring the changes. The double homogenization had an essential effect on the displacement of the dispersed phase particles and an improvement of viscoelastic properties of emulsion. The changes in amorphous structures obsd. well correlated with the results of microrheol.
