Addition of WO3 to TiO2 which were prepared by means of a conventional impregnation method leads to polycrystalline powder, used in various heterogeneous catalytic reactions for alkene isomerization, hydration, hydrocreacking and reforming. WO3/TiO2 was characterized by means of X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopies, XPS, BET, and IR. Catalytic activity for acid catalysis was investigated by micro-pulse method.
