Characterization of explosive and combustible parameters of selected after-exploitation synthetic sorbents used for petroleum substances
Polyurethane and polypropylene sorbents were studied before and after adsorption of petroleum-derived oils for combustion and explosion characteristics in cone calorimeter and smoke density chamber by std. methods. The products of thermal decompn. (mostly hydrocarbons) were identified.
