Optical properties of ZnO nanorod films prepared by CBD method
ZnO nanorods were grown on ITO substrate by CBD method. The XRD and SEM show that nanorods with hexagonal column structure were uniformly distributed. Then the optical properties of NRs were investigated. The transmittance spectrum shows a sharp absorption edge in the UV region. The reflection spectrum has a certain oscillation frequency, so the thickness of film can be obtained by the principle of light interference. The PL spectrum shows a UV emission peak at about 380 nm and a broad green emission centered at around 550 nm. By readily adjusting the preparation parameters, the green emission was very weak.
