Low - quality bituminous coal and its fractions of varying d. (1.3-1.8 g/cm(3)) from the coal cleaning were steam - gasified under isothermal conditions (900 degrees C, 1 MPa) to det. the kinetic curves of H-2, CO, CO2 and MeH formation and fee-dstock reactivity. The fraction 1.4-1.5 g/cm(3) showed the highest reactivity and yielded the higher amts. of CO and H-2.
