Three field tests of impact-rotary drilling were performed at Miechow, PL, to study the effect of downhole hammer speed (45-72 rpm) on its work time and the drilling time on particular intervals (3 m in 60-120 m). The linear drilling rate decreased down to 31-36 m/h with increasing hole depth independently on the hammer speed.
