This year one focus of ACHEMA was on "Flexible Production #FlexProd", showing system concepts for a digitized, agile and adaptive process industry regarding the general industrial trend Industry 4.0. A mainstay of this focus topic was the Flow Chemistry Pavilion. This part of the exhibition concentrated innovative exhibitors for a continuous production including a presentation and discussion area on a large exhibition area. The current trends and products from the field of microprocess engineering will be presented, which should pave the way for the future of microprocess engineering.
