Distillation is still one of the most important thermal separation processes in the chemical industry. In general, the separation tasks are solved by means of distillation columns, which are equipped with internals such as trays, or (structured or random) packings. At this year's ACHEMA, numerous vendors of these internals showcased their new and further developments. In the following a selection of different new products is presented.
