Mixts. of Pr palmitate and Bu stearate in full range of concns. were prepd. and studied for melting and solidification points and enthalpies by microcalorimetry. The eutectic mixt. (1:1 by mass) showed the highest phase change enthalpy at 20 degrees C and was recommended as transparent phase-change material for building industry.
