Effect of H2O2/UV on chloramine concentration in swimming pool water
Swimming pool water was treated with H2O2 (0.02-0.08 mg/L) under UV irradn. (an ay. dose 193 mJ/cm(2)) for 5 days to remove chloramines as disinfection by-products. The treatment was inefficient against chloramines but resulted in removal of org. matter (including microorganisms).
