Electric charge accumulation and storage in Nafion and graphene oxide films
In this work, the possibility of accumulation and storage of electric charge in 400-500 nm thick films formed by proton conductors was shown for the first time by the example of Nafion and graphene oxide. Current-voltage characteristics were studied in the humidity range of 53-80.7%. The process of charge accumulation is regulated by the humidity of the environment. In a dry atmosphere, the charge is preserved even when the potential is applied to the electrodes - the current appears only in a humid atmosphere. Charge accumulation occurs directly in the Nafion or graphene oxide film without chemical transformation, unlike batteries, electrical capacitors and liquid batteries.
