Statistical processing of experimental data to reveal the optimal conditions for nitration of higher linear -olefins with nitrogen oxide in polar and nonpolar solvent media has been carried out. The influence of various factors (temperature, time, reactant feed rate) on the yield and composition of nitro products has been shown.
